A Riverton man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for stabbing a man to death at a Mount Laurel hotel.
Taylor Perkins, 30, is accused of killing Michael Jefferies, 36, of Mount Laurel in April 2023 during a fight. Rodeway Inn along Route 73, the Burlington County District Attorney’s Office said. A jury convicted him of manslaughter in September.
Perkins was also convicted of concealment and theft by unlawful taking.

Prosecutors said he fled the scene in an SUV stolen from a nearby BMW dealership and then in an Xfinity employee’s truck. He was arrested in Camden.
Perkins was sentenced earlier this month by Superior Court Judge Richard J. Sentenced in Nocella’s Mount Holly courtroom.
