Podcasting giant Joe Rogan has opened up about his meeting with the vice president Kamala Harris canceled due to the demands of his campaign, but he left it open that it could still happen on his terms.
Rogan sat down with Friday former President Trump For a three-hour talk that has garnered more than 36 million views on YouTube. Episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” are typically two to three hours long.
After sharing Trump’s podcast on X, Rogan cleared the air about why he didn’t sit down with the Democratic nominee, but he left that possibility open.
“Furthermore, the Harris campaign did not continue to do the podcast,” Rogan tweeted Monday night. “They suggested an appointment for Tuesday but I had to go and they only wanted to do an hour. I think the best way to do it is in a studio in Austin.”
“What I really want is to just have a good conversation and get to know him as a person. I hope we can make that happen,” Rogan added.
The Harris campaign did not immediately respond Fox News Digitalrequest for feedback.
During the lengthy conversation, Trump took a swipe at Harris for ignoring the popular podcast.
“Can you imagine Kamala doing this show? Trump asked.
“I can imagine him doing that show,” Rogan replied. “He had to do it, he still can, I hope he does.”
“He’s not going to do it,” Trump said.
“I talk to him like a human being,” Rogan said.
“If he were to do an interview like that with you, I hope he does, because it would be a mess,” Trump continued. “He would be lying on the floor in a coma.”
